Global Supply Chain Manager

We are designing and developing a distributed battery storage system to pair with solar panels that are quick and easy to install. As a member of the supply chain team, you will support a fast paced automated factory that will help provide power to the US.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accuracy and audit bill of materials in material requirements planning systems in preparation for production at rate
- Establish and manage inventory level targets, review line of balances, align demand supply signals and allocations, maintain product master data.
- Mitigate risk and ensure continuity of supply by constructing and executing a well-thought-out supply plan that fulfills the needs of the product on time and with quality
- Proactively manage inventory, and prevent stock outs.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and government regulations
- Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices related to assigned category
- Forecast demand, evaluate capacity, and manage supply signals to adjust incoming material
- Track high risk components and supplier delivery performance
- Perform onsite reviews of vendor capabilities
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional experience in a related field with electronics or mechanical assembly
- Hands-on experience with building, debugging, testing, and validating electrical systems using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and similar tools. Experience with common hand and power tools.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, or a warehouse environment is preferred
- Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a shift and lift 50 lbs
- A strong sense of reliability, with a work ethic that supports keeping the production line moving.
- Extreme attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Experience with MRP or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and with managing bill of materials, work orders, and purchase orders
- Experience with forecasting, demand planning, and lead time analysis
- Strong skills in data analysis using Excel, SQL and PowerBI
- Solid understanding of common manufacturing processes and machines including mills, lathes, waterjet, laser cutters, sheet metal fabrication, etc, and familiar with common material finishes and coatings, including paint, powder coat, anodize, heat treatment, etc.
- American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification, Six Sigma certification, or similar certifications
- Effective written and verbal communications skills
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment
